Eye Pro is a lightweight utility that can help you avoid eye fatigue when you need to work long hours in front of a computer screen. The developers explain that your blinking rate noticeably decreases when you are doing something at the computer, like typing text or playing a game. This interferes with normal irrigation of the eyes, so your eyes may be sore after some time.
In order to prevent this problem, this application displays notices advising you to take a break once in a while. There are two types of breaks: short and long. Short eye rests usually advise you to have blinking sessions so that your eyes are well irrigated. Long rests commonly consist in some sort of visual exercise to prevent eye muscle fatigue. These long breaks will be notified in advance and you can skip them. At the same time, you will receive a series of tips for eye protection, in the form of both text and images. Moreover, you can access statistics to see how well you have followed the program’s advice.
The application has a nice interface that you need to use only when you are taking the initial configuration steps. However, if these settings do not seem to work, you can always open the program’s window from the system tray.
In general, Eye Pro can actually help you protect your eyesight. The advice it provides really contributes to healthy working habits. One thing I do not like about it is that I cannot find a way to tell the program not to interrupt me while I am watching movies.

The short-break pop-up has nice information but disappears before I can read it.
Hints pop-up disappears faster than I can read it.
